The Bellefontaine Police Department was dispatched to the Logan-Hardin County line to take a female, wanted on a warrant, to the Bellefontaine Municipal Court Thursday evening around 7:50.

Dispatch advised that the wanted person, Ashley Wyomic, 38, would not be accepted into custody at the Multi-County Correctional Center due to that facility being full.

Wyomic had a bailiff warrant through Bellefontaine Municipal Court, which was confirmed, and police were sent to take over custody of her from the Kenton Police and transport her to the Logan County Jail.

After turning over custody of Wyomic at the jail, corrections officers advised that a pill was concealed on Wyomic’s person. The orange capsule pill imprinted “400mg 234” was identified as Gabapentin. Wyomic did not have proof of a prescription for the pill or the prescription bottle.

She was lodged on illegal conveyance on a felony for the 3rd degree of drugs into a detention facility, possession of a schedule V drug, and a BMC warrant for failure to appear.
