Kids Born at Indian Lake High School

It’s a manger scene in the Indian Lake High School/Ohio Hi-Point FFA barn this Christmas season.

Senior Annie Braig’s pygmy goat, “Chippy” (like the Elf on the Shelf), gave birth this week to twins, “Sir Rudy” and “Sir Comet.”

Braig bred Chippy with fellow FFA member Courtney Altstaetter’s buck, “Sir Christmas Noel,” a few months back.

They are one big happy holiday family!

Sir Rudy and Sir Comet are the first live babies born in the ILHS/OHP FFA barn, which was specially constructed to provide agriculture space for students who do not live on a farm.

Braig plans to raise the kids in the barn on campus and show them at the Logan County Fair next summer.
