If I were principal for a day: I would allow everyone to take an open lunch for the day. This was always one of my favorite things to do with all my friends.
Favorite school memory: My favorite school memory is duct-taping Dustin to the wall in the gym to raise money for Discovery Riders. This event brought the entire school together to raise money for a great cause.
People who have been an inspiration to me include: My parents, my AAU coach Mr. John Coffee, and Doug Reprogle. These people have shown selfless support for me and my dreams. They have brought so much happiness and positivity into my life. I do not know where I would be in my life without them!
Lately I’ve been reading: The Life and Death of the Great Lakes by Dan Egan
My advice to parents: Allow your child to do what makes them happy and follow their passions, following their passions will allow them to work hard to achieve their dreams.
My biggest regret: I regret not starting my CCP classes until junior year.
Next year I will be: Attending the Ohio State University-Main Campus studying Agricultural Communications and Agronomy.

Name: Marah Reames
Parents: Toni Hurley
School Activities and awards: Concert Band, Marching Band, Jazz Band, Choir, Meistersingers, Vocal Jazz, Musical, Competition Cheer, Varsity Basketball Cheer, Track and Field, Archery Club, National Honor Society, Honda Achievement Breakfast, Honor Roll, Valedictorian
If I were principal for a day: I’d give every student a nap day, everyone always seems so tired, especially this close to the end of the year. I think it would be a really nice break for everyone.
Favorite school memory: This year’s band camp and being able to learn how to play the snare drum. Band camp has always been so much fun in general, and the drum line always jokes around while the winds are working.
People who have been an inspiration to me include: My mother, Kelli Gentis, and Miss Weygandt. They have supported me every step of the way and I will always appreciate them for that.
Lately I’ve been reading: Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
My advice to parents: Don’t get too stressed out if your student/child doesn’t have straight A’s throughout their entire high school career. Grades are important, but they should also enjoy and have fun while they are still kids.
My biggest regret: I regret taking too many hard classes during my senior year.
Next year I will be: Attending the University of Findlay, majoring in animal science/pre-vet studies, and joining their track team.
