The Kiwanis Club of Bellefontaine celebrated its October Students of the Month and finalized plans for its upcoming 100th Anniversary Celebration at its Thursday meeting.
The club welcomed seven outstanding local students and recognized their academic achievements, leadership, and commitment to their schools and communities.
Members congratulated the students on their accomplishments and encouraged them to continue pursuing their goals while remembering the importance of giving back to their hometowns.
In addition to recognizing the students, club members finalized preparations for the organization’s historic 100th Anniversary Celebration, scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Maxwell Event Center in Bellefontaine.
The evening will begin with a social hour from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:15 p.m. and a special anniversary program beginning at 6:45 p.m.
The celebration will honor a century of Kiwanis service, fellowship, and dedication to improving the lives of children and families throughout Bellefontaine and Logan County.
Club President Kyle Springs expressed excitement about the milestone and the opportunity to recognize the generations of members who have helped shape the organization.
“For 100 years, the Kiwanis Club of Bellefontaine has brought together individuals who share a commitment to serving others and making our community a better place,” Springs said. “As we recognize today’s outstanding students, we’re reminded that investing in our young people is one of the most important things we can do for the future of our community.”
The Kiwanis Club of Bellefontaine looks forward to celebrating its rich history while continuing its mission of serving the children of the world, one child and one community at a time.
