The Logan County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 11000 block of Tecumseh Path in Lakeview after a female reported a verbal domestic between her and her boyfriend, Jeffery Brown, 38. Dispatch advised that Brown was in the yard of his residence yelling he was “ready to go to jail.”

Upon arrival, the female was found in the yard of a pull-behind camper which she and Brown had been residing in for around one month. She said that Brown had come home late from work intoxicated and began verbally berating her, stating he was going to throw her out of the residence.

The female advised she had established residency and Brown could not force her to leave.

Deputies began knocking on the bedroom door of the camper where Brown was at. Authorities could hear a male voice cursing each time they knocked. After multiple attempts, Brown slowly opened the door. He immediately became confrontational yelling “take me to jail!”, “why are you in my house?”, and “get out of my house”.

Brown continued yelling and appeared to be very intoxicated.

He took an aggressive stance, blading himself, and putting his attention on one deputy and not the other who was communicating with him. Brown then threatened the deputies multiple times to a fight.

Brown was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct while he continued to yell indiscernible remarks.

He was lodged in the Logan County Jail for persistent disorderly conduct.
