The Village of Lakeview will host a special event on March 16th, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the Lakeview Firehouse (540 North Main Street, Lakeview) to honor the lives of Darla Williams and Marilyn Snapp.
Both women tragically lost their lives in the March 14, 2024 tornado that devastated the Indian Lake area.
In addition to remembering Williams and Snapp, the event will recognize the tireless efforts of the Lakeview first responders and village utility crew for their dedication to protecting and rebuilding the community in the wake of the disaster.
This ceremony will provide an opportunity for the community to come together in remembrance and gratitude for those who have made a significant impact on Lakeview.
Light refreshments will be provided by the Amvets Ladies Auxiliary.
The public is invited to attend and join in honoring the individuals and groups who have shown unwavering commitment to the well-being and restoration of Lakeview.
