A former local businessman is facing major prison time after a jury found him guilty of several charges on Wednesday evening.
A Logan County Common Pleas Court jury found 51-year-old Todd Lamb guilty on eight felony charges, including:
Engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity – first-degree felony
Theft from a person in a protected class – first-degree felony
Aggravated theft – third-degree felony
Grand theft – third-degree felony
Grand theft – fourth-degree felony (three counts)
Defrauding creditors – fourth-degree felony
Lamb is accused of taking money from clients and using it for things like real estate, family loans, and business expenses, all adding up to more than $930,000.
Judge Braig scheduled sentencing for 10 a.m. on November 26 and ordered Lamb to remain at the Logan County Jail until that hearing.
Lamb could face more than 30 years in prison if the maximum sentence is handed down.
