A former local businessman will spend more than two decades behind bars after being convicted of stealing nearly a million dollars from clients in a long-running financial scheme.
On Wednesday morning, Logan County Common Pleas Court Judge Kevin Braig sentenced 51-year-old Todd Lamb to 21 to 26½ years in prison.
The sentence follows his October 29 conviction on eight felony charges.
A jury found Lamb guilty of:
- Engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity – first-degree felony
- Theft from a person in a protected class – first-degree felony
- Aggravated theft – third-degree felony
- Grand theft – third-degree felony
- Grand theft – fourth-degree felony (three counts)
- Defrauding creditors – fourth-degree felony
Lamb took more than $930,000 from multiple victims.

He spoke to multiple victims during his statement:
Investigators say he diverted client funds into real estate purchases, family loans, and business expenses rather than using the money for its intended purposes.
Judge Braig noted the extensive financial harm and the number of victims when announcing the lengthy prison term.
Had the maximum sentence been imposed, Lamb could have faced more than 30 years.
Lamb was also ordered to pay a $50,000 fine and $750,862.99 in restitution.
