Lane closures and repairs continue across Logan County

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has released its weekly construction update for Logan County, with several state highways undergoing repairs and resurfacing work.

Motorists are advised to plan for delays and observe posted detours and traffic signals. All projects are weather permitting.

Ongoing Construction Projects:

  • State Route 273 is reduced to one lane between Oakridge Drive and Shady Lane through Friday, July 18, for a bridge replacement. A temporary traffic signal maintains traffic flow.
  • U.S. Route 33 is under lane restrictions between State Route 540 and State Route 117 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., through July. Traffic is limited to one lane in each direction as crews complete resurfacing work.
  • State Route 47 has lane restrictions in place between County Road 35 and Township Road 21A from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., continuing through September 2025. Workers are finishing up details from a prior bridge replacement.
  • State Route 273 is also experiencing intermittent lane closures between U.S. 68 and the Union/Logan County Line between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., continuing through September for repaving. A flagging crew is directing traffic.
  • State Route 274 is reduced to a single lane from U.S. 68 to Sandusky Street between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., also through September for resurfacing.
  • State Route 292 has ongoing single-lane restrictions between Hamilton Street and SR 47, with daily work from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. continuing through September for paving operations.
