Tuesday night, two Logan County communities are hosting National Night Out events to bring neighbors and local law enforcement together.
National Night Out is a yearly event held on the first Tuesday of August that helps build positive connections between police and the community, while promoting neighborhood safety and unity.
Washington Township’s First National Night Out- Lake Street Park
6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Washington Township Police are hosting their first-ever National Night Out.
The event will feature local agencies like Indian Lake EMS, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Lakeview Fire Department, and more.
Enjoy free burgers, hot dogs, chips, and water (while supplies last), face painting, music from DJ Lance Minnich, and surprise activities.

Bellefontaine Police & Fire Departments’ Celebration- Brown Park
Bellefontaine’s Police and Fire Departments, along with the Citizens’ Police Academy Alumni, invite you to their annual National Night Out from 6 to 8 p.m.
Come play games, dance to music, meet officers and firefighters, and enjoy grilled food and root beer floats, while supplies last.
