Leadership Champaign County (LCC) celebrated the graduation of its Class of 2025 on Thursday, May 15, at the Champaign County Community Building Auditorium.
The event marked the culmination of a nine-month leadership development experience designed to strengthen civic involvement and professional growth throughout the county.
Brett Spriggs, Leadership Champaign County Committee Chair, welcomed graduates and guests before the group presented their final projects.
Lunch was provided by Abuela’s Kitchen, and the Class Address was delivered by Jonathan Bisdorf of Bundy Baking Solutions and Mikaela Prescott of the Johnny Appleseed Museum.

Leadership Champaign County is a community development initiative that brings together individuals from across the public and private sectors to explore key areas such as government, health care, education, business development, agriculture, and local history.
Participants engage in lectures, facility tours, and hands-on challenges to gain a behind-the-scenes look at how the county operates.
The goal of the program is to develop informed, civic-minded leaders who are better prepared to contribute to their workplaces and communities.
Applications are now open for the next Leadership Champaign County class.
Enrollment is limited to 25 participants, and sessions are held on the third Thursday of each month from September through May.
Applications are due by September 1.
The cost to participate is $450 for Chamber members and $500 for non-members, with limited scholarships available.
