According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, 45-year-old Desmond Ramsey, from Lima, was arrested on Saturday after making threats at a home on Harrison Drive in Bellefontaine.
Deputies say Ramsey was refusing to leave the residence and appeared highly intoxicated.
A witness told deputies that Ramsey had threatened her before and became upset after being locked out of the house for a short time.
She said he later threatened to burn the house down.
Deputies say Ramsey was stumbling, slurring his words, drinking alcoholic beverages, and smoking marijuana.
He was taken into custody for domestic violence and transported to the Logan County Jail.
Ramsey has two prior domestic violence convictions from 2000 and 2019 and remains in custody at the Logan County Jail pending court proceedings.
