Deputies arrested a 57-year-old Lima man Tuesday night after reports of drug activity at the Marathon gas station in Conover.

The Champaign County Sheriff’s Office says it happened around 9 p.m. when a man, later identified as 57-year-old Wilson Davis, was allegedly harassing customers and attempting to sell methamphetamine. When deputies arrived, Davis reportedly took off running toward Kiser Lake before being apprehended nearby.

A pat-down revealed methamphetamine in his possession. Davis was charged with possession of drugs and illegal use of drugs.

Deputies transported him to the Clark-Champaign County line on State Route 235, where he was turned over to Clark County authorities.
