Early Saturday morning, Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report that a vehicle was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of US Route 33.
The vehicle, a white Kia, was found near the State Route 292 exit.
When they stopped the vehicle, the driver was told she was going the wrong direction and was told to turn around and then pull over.
She turned around but continued driving without stopping, prompting deputies to activate their lights and sirens.
Eventually coming to a stop, deputies approached the car and noticed a strong odor of alcoholic beverages coming from inside.
The driver, identified as Allazai Rose, 25, of Lima, was the only occupant.
Dispatch told deputies she was under multiple license suspensions, including one for a prior OVI offense.
Rose was then asked to step out of the vehicle and then failed several field sobriety tests.
She was placed under arrest, refused to submit a breath test, and was transported to the Logan County Jail.
Rose was cited for OVI, refusal to submit to a chemical test, driving under OVI suspension, driving under a non-compliance suspension, and failure to stay on a divided roadway.
