Lee Wilcoxon, owner of Lee’s Roofing and Spouting, says giving back to veterans has been one of the most rewarding parts of running his family-owned business since 1986.
“You can’t give back enough to our veterans,” Wilcoxon says. “This program is our way of saying thank you to those who have served.”
Now, the company is accepting nominations for its fifth annual Logan County Veteran Roof Giveaway, a program that provides a brand-new roof to a deserving local veteran, helping keep their home safe and in good repair for years to come.
Nominations are being accepted through Friday, November 6, and the winner will be announced on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, via Lee’s Roofing Facebook page.
Residents can nominate a veteran by:

Each nomination should include the veteran’s name, address, phone number, and a short note explaining why a new roof would make a difference.
You can nominate a friend, neighbor, family member, or even yourself if you’re a veteran.
Wilcoxon notes that every aspect of the roof—materials, labor, and supplies—is 100% covered by Lee’s Roofing.
“We’re proud of our work, and this is our way to honor someone who’s given so much to our community and our country,” he said.
