A local driver suffered serious injuries after an accident Monday.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office reports that Kelsie Shimizu of West Mansfield was on State Route 47 near Benjamin Logan Schools when she failed to negotiate a curve, went off the roadway, struck a ditch, hit two trees, and rolled her Honda on its top.
Shimizu was taken to Mary Rutan Hospital by Rushcreek EMS.
The car suffered heavy damage.
Shimizu was released from Mary Rutan Hospital Tuesday evening.
