On Wednesday, Brad Winner, owner of Mixx 165, spoke to the Urbana Lions Club about the importance of community involvement.
Winner, a 2009 graduate of Urbana High School, shared how his journey through music shaped his experiences and emphasized that opportunities arise from every decision—good or bad.
He encouraged attendees to use the momentum from one accomplishment to drive the next project.
Drawing from his background playing guitar at various venues, Winner gained insight into the restaurant industry and recognized a need for a community gathering spot in Mechanicsburg that offered more than just food.
Through his monthly “Good Eats” dine-and-donate program, he has raised approximately $85,000 for local organizations.
