A local grassroots community group is hosting the Logan County Food Drive on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Grange Building on the Logan County Fairgrounds in Bellefontaine.
This event is a chance for neighbors to come together and make a difference, supporting families, children, and pets across the county.
All donations collected will go directly to local pantries and organizations serving the community, including:
- Buckeye Gospel Barn
- Give-n-Take
- Wake Up the World
- Lutheran Community Services
- United Christian Services
- Bellefontaine First Church of God
- Five Loaves
Organizers are seeking a variety of items to meet the needs of local families.
Community members are encouraged to donate:
- Nonperishable food
- Frozen meat
- Toys for the Toys for Tots program
- Dog food
- Winter clothing
In addition, the new Animal Shelter has shared specific needs, including:
- Cat food
- Kitty litter
Volunteers—including high school students—will be on hand to assist, even in the cold, so you can simply drive through and donate.
