The Holland Theatre will host a junior production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid this weekend, featuring local middle school students.
Audiences can enjoy the show at three performances: Friday, February 6 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, February 7 at 2:00 p.m., and Saturday, February 7 at 7:30 p.m.
Cast members Leo Reser-Stanford, Garrett Gossard, Eva Wilson, Emma Smith, Kayla Tracey, and Kinsley Brentlinger joined Ken Keller on the Morning Show on 98.3 WPKO Friday morning to talk about the production.
The musical follows the story of Ariel, a young mermaid princess who dreams of living on land and falls for human Prince Eric.
With the help of her friends Flounder and Sebastian, she navigates the human world after making a risky deal with the sea witch Ursula.
The one-hour junior version features beloved songs like “Under the Sea” and “Part of Your World.”
