A local group of moms came up with an idea to put together Easter baskets for the Indian Lake community.
When they put the word out on social media, it spread like wildfire.
Donations began to pour in from business owners, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, churches, and total strangers.
Other moms began to join in the effort and it wasn’t long until they collected enough supplies.
Over 300 baskets were stuffed over the weekend.
The group is working with Indian Lake Schools to ensure that students and their siblings who were affected by the tornado at Indian Lake receive a basket.
