Six local students were celebrated Tuesday evening as they were inducted into the Wall of Fame at Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken in Bellefontaine.
The Wall of Fame recognizes students each quarter from Bellefontaine City Schools and Calvary Christian School.
Each school selects one student to be honored, with a photo and summary of their accomplishments displayed inside the restaurant.
The program highlights students who demonstrate leadership, character, kindness, and a positive influence on their school communities.

For the second quarter of the 2025/2026 school year, the honorees are:
Bellefontaine– Charlotte Burkhardt
Fourth grader Charlotte Burkhardt is honored for her cheerful, hardworking attitude. She is a supportive friend, a calming presence, and a true example of a Chieftain leader.
Bellefontaine – Elliiana Bosiljevac
Ellie Bosiljevac, an 8th grader, has earned all A’s in the first semester and contributed to the school’s volleyball team. She and her friends have raised thousands of dollars for the Warm Clothes for Kids program, making a lasting impact on local families. Teachers praise her for treating classmates and staff with respect and kindness.
Bellefontaine – Elly Buffkin
Elly Buffkin is celebrated for her kindness and thoughtfulness. She ensures no one feels left out, shows respect to students and staff, and quietly leads by example. She will be missed as she moves on to third grade next year.
Bellefontaine – Isabella Welch
Isabella Welch is recognized for her dedication to learning and her talents in art and music. Known for her focus and respect for others, Isabella consistently demonstrates the Chieftain Expectations—Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be a Learner. She is the 2nd Quarter Wall of Fame inductee.
Calvary Christian School – McKenna Beatty
McKenna Beatty is recognized for her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and leadership in fostering a welcoming classroom environment. She demonstrates patience and kindness, helping others while setting a positive example for her peers.
Calvary Christian School – Nehemiah Dillon
Nehemiah Dillon demonstrates leadership in both academics and athletics. He encourages younger students to make positive choices and shows determination in his studies and on the soccer field, making him a standout Chieftain leader.
These students exemplify leadership, character, and a positive influence on their school communities, and their achievements are now proudly displayed on the Wall of Fame at Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken.
