Victoria Neer is the recipient of the 2023 Outstanding Graduate Student Award.
Victoria, a resident of Bellefontaine Ohio, is a graduate student in Special Education seeking 2nd licensure.
A 5th grade Math teacher at Urbana City Schools, she considers it a tremendous reward to work with the future of society. She strives to help students develop as individuals who embrace all people and meet challenges head-on. Her passion is to work with diverse learners who challenge her to be innovative.
Victoria said, “I feel prepared to teach, engage, and learn with my students as a result of my time at the University of Cincinnati. Education is a gift that no one can take away. Education empowers.”
Victoria has two sons and a husband, Andy.
She will continue her education by attending the University of Cincinnati once she completes her Master’s degree in August.
