West Liberty residents, while you are celebrating the holiday this week, or maybe are off work and cleaning up around the house don’t forget Saturday’s Spring Clean-Up Day.
The Village will host the dumpsters for village residents from 8 AM to 1 PM this Saturday at Lions Park.
This service is offered to West Liberty residents ONLY, and you will be asked to provide residence verification.
Items you can dispose of will include:
- Non-freon containing appliances
- Furniture
- Household junk
- Renovation debris (no commercial contractor debris)
- Leftover shingles (small quantities)
- Paint cans (if open and the paint is completely dry)
Items that can NOT be disposed of:
- Propane/oxygen tanks (closed pressurized vessels)
- Tires
- Freon-containing appliances
- Batteries
- Brush/trees
- Fuels/combustibles
- Household garbage/food waste
- Recyclable or compostable items
