The Logan County Health District has installed a COVID test kit/harm reduction vending machine outside the health district building. They held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday to celebrate its arrival.
The Community Health division works hard to promote health and educate on disease prevention while meeting residents where they are. The vending machine is an added benefit for the community and will extend the district’s reach beyond the syringe exchange program, Wellness Wednesday. It provides health and safety items, such as COVID test kits, pregnancy tests, condoms, and individual doses of Narcan.
