The cooler temperatures and spitting snow didn’t stop over 300 folks from bringing their children to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office Sunday afternoon.

With just over 2,500 eggs hidden, children of all ages gathered them in just under 2 minutes. Stealing all the attention was K9 Thor and of course, there was a special appearance by the Easter Bunny himself.

The Easter Egg hunt kicks off the outreach season for the office. Next up on the agenda the office is looking to host a bike night to help spread awareness for not only bikes but also for DUI and speed prevention. After that, you can look for their go-kart day at Indian Lake Sports Park. Community Outreach Coordinator, Sarah Blair explains:

Be sure to follow the Logan County Sheriff’s Office on social media to stay up to date on outreach/community events.
