Logan County 4-H sewing shines at the Ohio State Fair

Several Logan County 4-H sewing participants made a strong impression at the 2025 Ohio State Fair this week, with outstanding results across quilting and sewing categories.

Over the course of one day of quilt judging and three days of sewing evaluations, 13 projects were entered—and the results speak for themselves.

Award Highlights:

  • 12 projects earned Outstanding of the Day honors in their categories
  • 2 members received Clock Awards, the highest honor awarded at the state level
  • 1 member received the State of Ohio Wool Award

Representing Logan County were:

  • Delia Rose – Outstanding in Sew Fun
  • Kaitlyn Adams – Outstanding in Clothes for High School and College
  • Valerie Knight – Outstanding in Clothes for High School and recipient of the State of Ohio Wool Award
  • Emily Adams – Outstanding and Clock Award winner in Loungewear
  • Kaitlyn Adams – Outstanding in Embellishment
  • Gillian Knight – Represented Logan County in Dress-Up Formalwear
  • Lila Adams – Outstanding in Shopping Savvy and Clothes for Middle School
  • Audra Harford – Outstanding in Activewear
  • Carly Strayer – Outstanding in Outer Layers
  • Emerson Gordon – Outstanding in Designed by Me
  • Valerie Knight – Outstanding in Quilting the Best Better
  • Audra Harford – Outstanding and Clock Award winner in Yes You Can Quilt
