The Logan County Board of Elections has released an updated candidate list for the May 5, 2026, primary election, including federal, state, and local races, as well as party central committee positions.
The update reflects candidates approved by Hancock County and includes additions to several contests:
- State Representative – 83rd District
- State Senate – 1st District
- State Central Committeeman and Committeewoman – 1st District for both Democratic and Republican parties
The notice also lists candidates for executive offices, including Governor, Attorney General, Auditor of State, Secretary of State, and Treasurer of State; U.S. Senate and U.S. House races; Ohio Supreme Court and Court of Appeals; and Logan County offices, such as County Commissioner, Auditor, and Clerk of Courts.
Voters can also see local ballot issues, including levies for fire and EMS services, school district income tax renewals, and additional developmental disabilities funding.
