The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has announced ongoing construction projects that are expected to affect several state highways in Logan County starting this week.
All work is weather dependent, and motorists are urged to use caution, expect delays, and monitor detour signage and traffic updates.
Continuing Lane Closures and Restrictions:
- State Route 47 Closure (Through the end of May): State Route 47 is closed between County Road 35 and Township Road 21A as crews perform concrete bridge deck repairs.
Detour: Northbound SR 235 → West on State Route 274 → Main Street/State Route 65 - State Route 273 Lane Closure (Through July 18): State Route 273 is reduced to a single lane between Oakridge Drive and Shady Lane. Traffic is being controlled by a temporary signal as crews replace a bridge.
- U.S. 33 Lane Restrictions (Through July): Daytime lane restrictions on U.S. 33 between State Route 540 and State Route 117 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. One lane in each direction will remain open during resurfacing operations.
