Motorists should be prepared for several road closures and traffic restrictions across Logan County beginning the week of April 28, as the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) continues maintenance and infrastructure improvement projects.
All work is weather-dependent.
New Closures:
- State Route 292 Closure
State Route 292 will be closed between Township Road 141 and County Road 2 from Monday, April 28, through Wednesday, April 30, for culvert replacement.
Detour: State Route 292 to State Route 540 to U.S. 33 and back to State Route 292. - State Route 638 Closure
State Route 638 will be closed between Bellefontaine Street and County Road 101 through Friday, May 2, for culvert replacement.
Detour:- Northbound: U.S. 68 to State Route 273 West to State Route 638
- Southbound: State Route 273 East to U.S. 68 South
Ongoing Projects:
- State Route 47 Lane Restrictions
State Route 47 will remain closed between County Road 35 and Township Road 21A. Crews are working on a concrete bridge deck repair.
Detour: North on State Route 235 to West on State Route 274 to Main Street/State Route 65. - State Route 273 Lane Closure
State Route 273 is reduced to one lane between Oakridge Drive and Shady Lane through Friday, July 18. A temporary traffic signal is in place while crews replace the bridge. - U.S. 33 Lane Restrictions
Lane restrictions continue on U.S. 33 between State Route 540 and State Route 117 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. This project will continue through July, with one lane of traffic maintained in each direction at all times for resurfacing work.
ODOT encourages drivers to plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
