Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies responded Wednesday night to a report of a vehicle that had driven off the road on County Road 91, just outside Lewistown.

The 2020 Chevrolet Blazer was found against a tree in the 8000 block, but no driver was present.

The vehicle is registered to Zachary Case of Lewistown.

Deputies noted a small amount of blood in the snow near the rear of the vehicle, then went to Case’s home and spoke with his wife via a doorbell camera.

She said she was out of state and had not spoken with Case.

Authorities also contacted Mary Rutan Hospital, which confirmed that no one admitted there had been involved in a crash.

Wrens Towing towed the Blazer and remains on hold while deputies continue their investigation.

No additional information on the driver has been released.

The crash remains under investigation by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
