Case cited after vehicle found off road last week

Zachary Case, 44, of Lewistown, has been identified as the driver in a crash last Wednesday on County Road 91 after an investigation by Logan County Sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies responded on February 4th to a report of a vehicle that had gone off the road near Lewistown.

The 2020 Chevrolet Blazer was found against a tree in the 8000 block, but no one was initially at the scene.

A small amount of blood was observed in the snow near the rear of the vehicle.

After speaking with Case’s wife via a doorbell camera and checking with local hospitals, deputies confirmed Case was the driver. .3

He sustained only minor, superficial injuries in the crash.

Case has been issued a citation for failure to control his vehicle.

Deputies noted that Case was distracted by something inside the vehicle.
