Logan County Sheriff’s deputies responded to two weather-related crashes over the weekend as snow-covered roads created hazardous conditions.
On Saturday evening, just before 5:00, a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by 23-year-old Carter Mitchell of Albany, Indiana, went off the right side of State Route 274 near Township Road 95.
The vehicle hit a utility pole and a telephone junction box.
Mitchell was not injured and was cited for failure to control his vehicle.
Then, shortly before 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, deputies were called to County Road 153 following a crash involving a 2006 Ford Fusion driven by 19-year-old Katrina Penhorwood of North Lewisburg.
According to reports, Penhorwood went off the right side of the road and collided with a fence.
She was treated for possible injuries and cited for failure to control her vehicle.
Her car was towed from the scene.
