Teachers and administrators in Logan County’s four public schools received a total of $38,038.34 in grant awards to support creative and challenging classroom and building initiatives.
The annual grants included building grants funded by the Logan County Education Foundation, Ripple Effect Grants funded by the Haushalter Foundation, and Dedicated Grants from various endowed funds.
The Foundation’s building grants focus on initiatives benefiting entire school buildings.
Funding for these grants comes from the Foundation’s Earning for Learning Campaign and proceeds from the Annual Run to Educate.
Applications were sent to schools on October 13 and reviewed by the Foundation’s grant committee after the November 10 deadline, which was extended by one day due to an unexpected snowstorm.
