Logan County Education Foundation Releases New Scholarships

Riverside Seniors have a new scholarship this year to help them fund their post-high school education.

The DeGraff County Fair Board has created the DCF Make A Difference Scholarship to support students attending a Trade or Technical school.

The student must show previous experience of giving back to the community.

Also, new this year is the Spencer Reames Academic Scholarship, which was created to honor long-time Benjamin Logan Science teacher, Spencer Reames.

This scholarship is open only to seniors at Benjamin Logan and Bellefontaine City Schools.

Students must have a 3.2 or higher GPA, must pursue a Science-related career, may attend a 2- or 4-year college/university, and preference will be given to those students who participated in State Science Day.

These two scholarships join 30 other scholarships administered by the Logan County Education Foundation for the benefit of Logan County students.
