Logan County Fair Best Of Show selected for needlework projects

Judging for the Logan County Fair Open Classes for needlework was held Friday, July 10, at the fairgrounds.

Projects will be on display at the fair all week in the Blue Building.

Participants in Needlework let their talents shine in a variety of ways to compete in one (or more) of 6 divisions.

Their items offer variety in construction techniques, size, and materials used.

The judge, Janice Snyder, was well-versed in many kinds of needlework.

Their display includes table runners, afghans, jackets, pillows, and stitched wall hangings.

In Crochet, Judy Lenhart is Grand Champion and Anita Stanley is Reserve Champion.

In Knitting, both the Grand Champion and Reserve Champion awards went to Debbie Horney.

In Needlework, Karen Tracey is Grand Champion and Marjorie Bixler is Reserve Champion.

In Counted Cross Stitch, both the Grand Champion and Reserve Champion awards went to Marjorie Bixler.

In Machine Sewing, Kim Comer is Grand Champion and Anita Stanley is Reserve Champion.
