Tuesday at the Logan County Fair is Senior Citizen Day, with free admission for seniors and a lineup of competitions and activities showcasing everything from livestock to homemade goods.
The day starts early for Open Class participants, with Home Goods entries accepted from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. in categories including cakes, cookies, candies, specialty items, and healthier baking options.
Judging of these delicious creations begins at 9:00 a.m.
At 8:00 a.m., seniors are invited to a Senior Breakfast provided by Mary Rutan Health Pavilion — a perfect opportunity to enjoy good food and community spirit.
Livestock action begins at 9:00 a.m. with Swine Showmanship in the Show Barn, followed by a Jackpot Show for swine exhibitors.
At the same time, the Horse Show continues in the Horse Arena.
At 1:00 p.m., the Open Class Goat Show takes place in the Show Barn, featuring a variety of breeds and exhibitors.
Later in the afternoon, the spotlight shifts to the Beef Feeder, Beef Breeding, and Market Beef Show starting at 4:00 p.m., with showmanship competitions following.
The evening offers both creativity and excitement, with the Style Review event beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Activity Building, and Harness Racing kicking off at the Grandstand at the same time.
