Woody and Katie Amidon, Gwyn Stetler, Donna Williams, and Bev Edwards joined News Director April King on Sunday morning on 98.3 WPKO for Listen Up! to talk about the Logan County Friendly Senior Center.

The group highlighted the wide variety of programs and activities available for the older generation in Logan County.

From social gatherings and fitness classes to seasonal events and special programs, the center provides opportunities for connection, learning, and fun for its members.

The purpose of the Logan County Friendly Senior Citizens Center, Inc. is to encourage all senior citizens to live creative and purposeful lives and to offer facilities and services that carry out these goals.

This includes helping seniors take advantage of available community services and promoting educational growth through planned programs.

The center is committed to inclusivity and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status.

This commitment applies to all activities, including hiring staff, selecting volunteers and vendors, and providing services.

The center offers a variety of ways for the community and members to get involved, including volunteering, participating in activities and trips, enjoying meals, and more. For more information, residents are encouraged to visit the center’s Support Us page.
