Grand Jury indictments include rape and other serious felonies

The Logan County Grand Jury convened Tuesday morning and returned multiple indictments for the February term.

Among those indicted:

  • Michael L. Walters was indicted in two separate cases, including numerous counts of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor or impaired person, as well as multiple first-degree felony counts of rape and several counts of gross sexual imposition.
  • Robert J. Price II faces multiple felony charges, including possession and trafficking of cocaine, both first-degree felonies, as well as having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony.
  • Amanda Y. Chavis was indicted on first-degree felony charges of possession and trafficking of cocaine, along with tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony.
  • Colton C. E. Jones was charged with endangering children, a third-degree felony.
  • William D. Sheets II was indicted on several drug-related charges, including illegal manufacture of drugs, a second-degree felony, possession of chemicals for drug manufacturing, and multiple felony drug possession counts, along with tampering with evidence.
  • Angela T. Boger faces charges related to complicity in the illegal manufacture of drugs, possession of drug manufacturing chemicals, and multiple felony drug possession counts.
  • Andrea C. Smith was indicted on felony drug possession charges and a misdemeanor count of illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • William R. Patterson was charged with grand theft, a fourth-degree felony.
  • Foxi A. Carter was indicted on a fifth-degree felony vandalism charge and multiple misdemeanor counts of criminal damaging or endangering.
  • Landon D. Johnson faces charges of burglary, a third-degree felony, along with misdemeanor counts of criminal damaging and criminal trespass.
  • Timothy W. Steinhelfer was indicted on charges including OVI, aggravated vehicular assault, and failure to stop after an accident.
  • Jessica M. Morton was charged with theft, a fifth-degree felony.
  • Shane G. Hayes was indicted on a charge of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony.
  • Kimberlee A. James was charged with identity fraud, a fifth-degree felony.
  • Damonshay J. Cotton was indicted on a third-degree felony charge of domestic violence.

All charges are allegations.

Defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
