Logan County officials elected to state posts

Logan County Recorder Pat Myers was recently elected as State Secretary of the Ohio Recorders Association (ORA). The ORA is a vital organization dedicated to supporting Ohioans, with its membership comprising recorders from all 88 counties. Myers has served as Logan County Recorder since 2013, and in this role, she is responsible for maintaining an accurate and permanent record of all documents related to land transfers and encumbrances within the county.

Additionally, Logan County Engineer Scott Coleman has been elected State President of the County Engineers Association of Ohio (CEAO). The CEAO is an important consortium that brings together county engineers to collaborate on providing top-notch transportation, drainage, surveying, and land record-keeping services across Ohio. The association plays a critical role in addressing local infrastructure challenges. Coleman has served as Logan County Engineer since 2002 and will now lead the CEAO in its efforts to enhance Ohio’s local infrastructure.

Finally, Logan County Commissioner Joe Antram was elected State Secretary of the County Commissioners Association of Ohio (CCAO) at their 144th Annual Winter Conference in Columbus. The CCAO focuses on advancing effective county government through legislative advocacy, education, technical assistance, and public awareness. Antram, who has served as a Logan County Commissioner since 2017 and has been a member of the CCAO State Board of Directors for three years, will now help lead the association’s efforts to strengthen county governments across the state.
