Logan County opens Overnight Warming Shelter during dangerous cold

With temperatures set to drop to dangerous levels over the next few days, Logan County is stepping in to help residents stay safe and warm.

The county’s Winter Overnight Emergency Warming Shelter will open whenever temperatures are expected to fall below 20°F.

The shelter is run by the Logan County Housing Innovation Workgroup and provides a safe overnight space for anyone in need.

Check-in is from 7:00–9:00 PM at the Bellefontaine First Church of God, Youth Center Entrance (Door 9), 1000 East Brown Avenue, Bellefontaine.

The shelter closes at 5:30 AM Monday–Friday and 8:00 AM on weekends.
