This October, Logan County unites to “Paint LoCo Pink,” a month-long initiative dedicated to honoring individuals affected by breast cancer, raising awareness about this preventable disease, and supporting the Logan County Cancer Society (LCCS).

To kick off the campaign, a recognition event will take place in Bellefontaine, West Liberty, and Indian Lake, celebrating breast cancer survivors and remembering those we’ve lost.

Indian Lake’s Paint LoCo Pink Celebration will be held on Wednesday, September 25th, starting at 5 PM in Downtown Lakeview under the tent on Main Street. Community members are encouraged to attend and show their support for this vital cause.

West Liberty’s Paint LoCo Pink Celebration will be on Thursday, September 26th from 3-6 PM at West Liberty’s Town Hall. A survivor’s walk will take place at 6 PM.

Bellefontaine’s Paint LoCo Pink Celebration- Join together at the Holland Theater on October 3rd at 6:30 PM for an evening of fellowship and support. The event will feature inspiring words from local breast cancer survivor Melinda Knueve, who will share her journey and offer encouragement to those affected by the disease.

Join in honoring the resilience of survivors and fostering a spirit of hope throughout Logan County.
