Drivers in Logan County can expect construction projects to impact travel next week.

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has outlined several ongoing and upcoming projects that may affect state highways.

All work is weather permitting.

Continuing Impacts:

  • State Route 47 Lane Restrictions
State Route 47, between County Road 35 and Township Road 21A, will remain closed through May 2025. Crews will be repairing the concrete bridge deck.
Detour: Traffic will be rerouted via North State Route 235 to West State Route 274, and Main Street/State Route 65.
  • State Route 273 Lane Closure
Expect lane restrictions on State Route 273, between Oakridge Drive and Shady Lane, through Friday, July 18. Traffic will be reduced to one lane and managed by a temporary traffic signal while crews replace the bridge.
  • U.S. 33 Lane Restrictions
Lane restrictions will be in place on U.S. 33 between State Route 540 and State Route 117 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, through July 2025. Traffic will be maintained with one lane in each direction at all times as crews work to resurface the road.

ODOT advises all drivers to plan accordingly and be aware of potential delays.
