According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, drivers in Logan County can expect several new traffic impacts beginning this week, along with ongoing construction projects affecting multiple state routes.

Starting Monday, several routes will be reduced to one lane during daytime hours as repaving projects begin.

State Route 235 between State Route 720 and the Hardin/Logan County line, State Route 274 between Rushsylvania and State Route 273, and State Route 366 between State Route 235 and U.S. 33 will all have lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. through July, with traffic controlled by flaggers.

Several projects already underway will continue to impact travel.

Lane restrictions remain in place on State Routes 117, 245, 287, and 638, with work expected to continue through August.

All projects involve repaving and are limited to daytime hours.

In addition, the County Road 55 bridge over U.S. 33 remains closed for a 30-day repair project that began April 15.

A detour is posted via Township Road 55 and County Road 10.

Motorists should also expect intermittent lane reductions on U.S. 33 near the State Route 55 bridge through mid-May as overhead bridge work continues.

All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution in work zones and plan ahead for potential delays.
