The Logan County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Monday & Tuesday, an unknown man called two separate manufacturing companies in Logan County stating he was Deputy Matt Robinson with the Sheriff’s Office.
The caller left messages for specific employees to call him back.
Both manufacturing companies called the Sheriff’s Office to verify that a deputy had called.
While the Logan County Sheriff’s Office does have a Deputy Matt Robinson, he did not call these manufacturing companies.
The man is impersonating a peace officer.
You are asked to not call the phone number that he may leave for you to call back.
If the real Deputy Matt Robinson were to call you, the only number he would have you call back is (937) 592-5731.
