The alert covers all county roads, and motorists are urged to drive cautiously, reduce speed, and allow extra time for travel.
Authorities are advising drivers to use alternate routes until the road reopens.
Sheriff Dodds said crews are working to treat roads that quickly froze over as temperatures dropped.
