Monday evening Russells Point Police were called to a home on the 400 block of Buckeye Avenue for a domestic dispute.

Dispatch received a call saying two men were fighting inside the home.

When officers arrived in the area, they found the victim in the middle of the road attempting to defend himself against Randall Lourance Jr. (39 years old) who was acting aggressively towards the victim and then turned his attention to the officers.

Officers learned Lourance tackled the victim and began hitting him in the face.

Lourance then became combative and told officers they would need to shoot him before he would go to jail.

When officers attempted to place him under arrest, Lourance tried to pull away.

He was eventually handcuffed and transported to the Logan County Jail.

Lourance was lodged on a felony count of domestic violence and resisting arrest.
