Tuesday afternoon, the Bellefontaine Police Department was contacted by a Lowe’s investigator about a theft at the store.
The investigator said video showed an employee, Breanne Harrington, 26, of Bellefontaine, taking items over a four-week time frame.
Harrington spoke with the investigator and admitted to taking the merchandise.
She said all the items, worth $2,440.50, were in a trailer at her home and agreed to let police search it.
