Bellefontaine Police arrested 41-year-old Thomas Whitehead on Sunday night after being called to the laundromat on North Hayes Street.

Officers were called just before 10:00 PM after the business owner reported a man yelling, sitting on the floor, and causing a disturbance while not using the laundromat.

Two customers were inside at the time.

Police say Whitehead showed several signs of being under the influence and admitted to using meth.

After Whitehead gave permission to search his belongings, officers found a homemade meth pipe in his backpack and a Clonazepam pill inside a pack of cigarettes.

Witnesses told police they saw Whitehead rolling on the floor, yelling, and climbing on things inside the laundromat.

Whitehead was arrested and taken to the Logan County Jail.

He is charged with drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct while intoxicated.
