March lineup at Holland Theatre: Irish music, ice skating, and more

The Holland Theatre in Bellefontaine is offering a diverse array of performances in March, from traditional Irish music to dazzling on-ice choreography and a free jazz concert.

First, on Saturday, March 1st, catch The All New Wizard of Oz on Ice at 7:30 p.m.

Presented by the same production company that brought Christmas On Ice to the Holland last year, this enchanting ice-skating performance of the beloved classic is perfect for the whole family.

Next, The Drowsy Lads will bring their high-energy Irish music to the Holland Theatre on Saturday, March 15, also at 7:30 p.m., just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

The Drowsy Lads are known for their lively, rollicking performances, making them an audience favorite across the region.

On Saturday, March 22, the John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band takes the stage at 7:30 p.m.

The supergroup, featuring bluegrass stars like John Jorgenson and Herb Pedersen, will deliver a night of bluegrass classics and new tunes.

Finally, the Ohio State University Jazz Ensemble will perform a free concert on Friday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m.

With their big band sound, this performance is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Looking ahead, Madcap Puppets: Pinocchio will be on stage on April 5, followed by David Anthony: An Evening of Magic and Hypnosis on May 17, and the classic musical Camelot from June 20-22.
