Monument Square to host Fire & Ice Gala in Urbana

The Monument Square District in Urbana is hosting a holiday fundraiser on Saturday, December 16th from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at The Woodruff Farm.

This year’s fundraiser theme is “Fire and Ice” including activities for everyone to enjoy.

Starting at 5:30 p.m. In Good Taste Market will serve appetizers, beef tenders, Tuscan chicken, and a cake bar, by Let’s Eat Cake.

A silent auction and live auction of an airplane ride, a round of golf, and Christmas trees will take place throughout the event.

Dancing and music from DJ Tom Conley will start after dinner is served.

A photographer will be at there with a Holiday backdrop to capture the event.

Donations of Christmas trees, wreaths, or basket gifts are welcome for the auction.

Auction items can be dropped off at Vintage Traveler, 107 Scioto Street in Urbana on Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or email [email protected] to make arrangements.

Tickets for the event are $40 for individuals, $70 for couples, and $300 for a table.

The Woodruff Farm is located at 3143 E. U.S. Hwy 36, Urbana.

All proceeds raised go to support Urbana’s non-profit mission of championing the development of an economically, socially, and culturally vital central business district, thereby enhancing the quality of life in the city.
