Republican U.S. Senate candidate Bernie Moreno made a campaign stop in Bellefontaine on Friday. Arriving shortly after 11 AM, Moreno’s campaign bus rolled into the downtown area, where he and his family explored local historic sites and small businesses.
Following the tour, the Moreno family joined a group of small business owners and influential community leaders at Bella Vino for an intimate lunch discussion. During the gathering, Moreno expressed his commitment to supporting rural Ohio, underscoring the importance of small businesses in the local economy.
Moreno charged the group with talking to friends and family on his behalf, encouraging them that he would “stand for small-town Ohio and not just the 3 C’s…Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati.” when elected.
Moreno took the opportunity to address concerns about the media, alleging that mainstream outlets often distort facts and prioritize financial interests over the truth. Listen in to more of the conversation:
The event allowed local leaders to engage with Moreno directly, raising questions and discussing the challenges facing the state and country. As the campaign continues, Moreno aims to connect with voters across Ohio, focusing on his message of support for small businesses and rural interests.
